Let’s make January 15th a Bright Blue Monday

15th January is commonly referred to as Blue Monday, the most depressing day of the year. We think this is absurd. We want to rethink Blue Monday, because any day of the year can be a challenge for people living with mental illness.

So we want to make 15 January into #BrightBlueMonday recognising that with the right care and support, we can create a better life for everyone affected by mental illness.

We’d love as many people as possible to take part. Here are a few easy ways you can get involved:

  • wear something bright, or something that makes you happy
  • brighten someone’s day
  • text MNDY70 £3 to 70070 to donate £3 to Mental Health UK
  • share photos on social media #BrightBlueMonday

If you’d like to help share our message of hope and support, why not download our
Bright Blue Monday poster and put this up in your workplace, school or local cafe!
