Anglesey – Early Intervention in Psychosis service

Location: Anglesey, Wales

The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) service provides outreach support to young people aged 14-25 who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis. As part of this service, clients take part in incredibly exciting Adventure Therapy activities to develop confidence, new skills and teamwork. Recently the group took part in a tall ship voyage, sailing ‘Faramir’ around the Irish Sea over three weeks. They sailed the whole coast of Wales, across to Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, finishing in Cardiff Bay to complete a fantastic experience for all involved. The funds you raise will go towards future adventure therapy and group sessions to support young people and to help them develop key life skills they can take into the future.
