My 2020 Photo

2020 – what a year! What have you seen?

The Mental Health UK Photo Competition is an opportunity for you to share what 2020 has meant to you, through the medium of photography.

This event has already happened.

The variety of feelings and emotions we are all experiencing throughout this tumultuous year can sometimes feel abstract. Photography can allow you to capture moments in time visually and provide a powerful insight into your personal experience.

All you need is a camera, which could be the latest SLR, or the camera on your phone.

“We are making photographs to understand what our lives mean to us.”

– Ralph Hattersley

Register to take part and you can be in the running to win one of our prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, as well as the People’s Choice award. You will receive regular updates about the competition, as well as ideas and tips about photography.

The positive impact the group has had on me is huge. I don’t feel so isolated any more. If the support had not been available I would still be facing depression and loneliness, unable to look after myself and over-thinking things.
