Snowdon Three Peaks

If you’re after a challenge to work towards, look no further. This one will work the thighs and amaze the eyes! Join us in Snowdon and trek three of the most beautiful peaks in Wales, in one go, over one day.

We’re delighted to bring you this exciting three peak challenge event in picturesque Snowdonia, Wales.

We’ve taken precautions to ensure this event can take place safely during the Covid-19 pandemic, and we’ll continue to review the situation in line with the latest government guidance and regulations. If the trek is unable to go ahead due to the pandemic, we will reschedule for a date when it can!

The route

We have different route options available, tailored around group size, ability, weather and Covid-19 restrictions.

You will meet with fellow Mental Health UK fundraisers at 9am ready for a safety briefing at 9.15am by our wonderful friends at Challenge Central, who will then guide you up and down three mountains:

  • Snowdon 1085m (3560ft)
  • Garnedd Ugain 1065m (3494ft)
  • Crib Goch 923m (3028ft)

The trek should finish by 5.30pm and conclude with a medal ceremony plus some refreshments at the Royal Victoria Hotel in Llanberis.

If you have any questions about the challenge or would like more information on the itinerary or what to pack, please visit the Challenge Central’s website.

We can’t wait for you to join #TeamMHUK!

Completing Snowdon was one of the best feelings ever, and the scenery throughout the whole challenge was incredible! Climbing three mountains was definitely a challenge, but totally worth it and one I will remember forever.

– Jemima, fundraising manager at Mental Health UK, and fundraiser

The positive impact the group has had on me is huge. I don’t feel so isolated any more. If the support had not been available I would still be facing depression and loneliness, unable to look after myself and over-thinking things.

"I enjoyed seeing my fundraising increase on a weekly basis, the events that I organised pushed me out of my comfort zone, I talked to people about Mental Health in a way that I would never have done otherwise."

Louise Greenwood,
Lloyds Banking Group

"I was totally elated when I crossed the line and so glad I’d given it a go!"

Helen Taylor

"Mental Health UK was a friendly partner to have. I received lots of motivational encouragement via email which maybe doesn’t sound like much but knowing people are rooting for you really helps"
