Pin badge
If you’ve received a call from Angel Fulfilment about a Mental Health UK pin badge, this page is here to help. You’ll find answers to common questions about the campaign, how your information is used, and the ways you can choose to engage with us. We’ve also included details on how to contact our Supporter Care team if you need further reassurance or support.
Why have I received a phone call from Angel Fulfilment?
We understand that unexpected calls can raise questions, so we want to reassure you that Angel Fulfilment is working on behalf of Mental Health UK.
You may have seen our advert offering a free pin badge and registered your interest. As part of this campaign, our trusted fundraising partner Angel Fulfilment will call you to collect the details needed to send your badge and to talk to you about supporting our work. If you have any concerns about a call you’ve received, Supporter Care is here to help.
How can I be sure this call is genuine?
Mental Health UK will only contact people who have actively signed up to receive a free pin badge. Our fundraising partner, Angel Fulfilment, makes these calls on our behalf between 9am and 9pm, Monday to Sunday. If they can’t reach you the first time, they may try again up to 8 times in total.
You are never under any obligation to donate. If you’re unsure at any point, you can hang up and contact Supporter Care directly to confirm the call.
Why are Mental Health UK using an agency?
To help us reach more people with this campaign, our in-house team is working alongside a specialist agency. We’ve partnered with Angel Fulfilment because they provide high quality, supporter focused calls and offer good value for money. They will let you know that calls may be recorded for training and quality purposes – that means we can ensure that supporters receive the best possible experience and calls are being handled to a high standard.
Through this campaign, we aim to raise vital funds to help more people affected by poor mental health. For every £1 invested, we expect to raise a further £3 over the next five years to support our work. By wearing your Mental Health UK pin badge, you will be helping raise awareness.
Angel’s fundraisers will ask for a donation to Mental Health UK, but they should never apply undue pressure.
How can I stop receiving calls from Angel or Mental Health UK?
If you would like to stop receiving calls about this campaign, please contact Supporter Care. We will notify Angel Fulfilment to ensure you are removed from the calling list. Please note that this will mean we will be unable to fulfil your request for a pin badge.
If you’d like to update your communication preferences with Mental Health UK, Supporter Care can help with that too.
How was my data shared and how will it be used?
We only share information with trusted fundraising partners when someone has actively registered interest in hearing from us – for example this pin badge campaign. Your data is handled securely and in line with data protection legislation. You can read our privacy policy. Our agency will not retain or use your data for any other purpose.
You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time or request more information about how your data is used by contacting Supporter Care.
How can I provide feedback about my call?
Your feedback helps us improve the experience for all our supporters. Please contact our Supporter Care team and we will ensure your comments are acknowledged and passed on where appropriate.
Is there an alternative way I can provide my details to receive my free pin badge?
We understand some people may prefer not to speak on the phone. At the moment, the call is how we collect the details needed to send your pin badge. We don’t currently offer another way to send badges individually, as this would incur additional costs for the charity.
I’d like to donate to Mental Health UK, how can I do that?
That’s amazing – thank you so much for your support! You can make a donation to support our work online or by giving calling Supporter Care directly on 020 7840 3101, Monday to Friday, 9:30am-4pm (excluding bank holidays).
