Help our rural communities stay connected

Research into covid-19 shows concerning effects on isolated rural communities and individuals in Scotland. With new social distancing measures these problems in the community will grow. Help Change Mental Health to extend their community support in rural areas to support those in need when they require it most.
Change Mental Health brings together the National Rural Mental Health Form, which has a reach of half a million people across rural Scotland through its member organisations.
Often people living with mental health problems experience feelings of isolation and loneliness, now due to covid-19, there is increased demand for support in rural Scotland. With your help Change Mental Health will be able to extend their community-based approach digitally to connect isolated people and deliver health-related training. Virtual forums and support groups, video conferencing and a new digital platform will help to connect community members and improve their mental health.
