When is Glow?

Glow Birmingham: 28 September 2024

Glow London: 5 October 2024

The Glow experience:

Taking part in Glow mental health charity walk means you can walk and talk with others who are passionate about mental health, and together, you’ll be helping people across the UK to better understand and manage their mental health.

We want to be one of the city’s featured sights that night, so dressing up is encouraged! Be it glow sticks, luminous face paint, fairy lights, or fun clothes.

Friendly dogs are welcome and can dress up too. Please note that those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian at all times.

At the end of the circular route, there will be a medal waiting for you, as well as fantastic memories and a well-deserved feeling of achievement that will last a lifetime.

Helping Mental Health UK to support the nation’s mental health.

Your entry fee helps us to ensure this event is safe and well delivered, but that’s not all. The money you raise in the run-up to Glow will help us support more people across the UK whose lives have been affected by mental health problems. Find out about the vital work we undertake that you’ll be helping to fund.

So whether you come along solo, or get your mates, family, or your work colleagues to join, we can’t wait to see you there!

– Kiran, GLOW participant 2022

The positive impact the group has had on me is huge. I don’t feel so isolated any more. If the support had not been available I would still be facing depression and loneliness, unable to look after myself and over-thinking things.
