Menopause and mental health in the workplace

Around 73% of working women aged 40–60 experience menopause symptoms at work, and 68% report higher stress impacting performance.

Our 50-minute bitesize session builds awareness and provides practical tools to support mental health and wellbeing during menopause, helping to reduce stigma and foster a more supportive workplace culture.

Why invest in mental health training?

Investing in mental health training isn’t just the right thing to do for your team — it can help your organisation’s long-term success.

Mental health training helps organisations strengthen performance, protect wellbeing, and build a more resilient, supportive culture. Research shows clear benefits to staff, leadership, and the bottom line.

Poor mental health in the UK costs employers an estimated £51 billion annually, primarily due to presenteeism, turnover, and sick leave.

Poor mental health now makes up more than half of all work-related illnesses, roughly 51% of long‑term sick leave traced to stress, depression, or anxiety.

For every £1 invested in employee mental health and wellbeing, employers typically see an average return of £4.70, driven by gains in productivity, reduced absenteeism, and improved retention.

Are your courses accredited?

Our Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course is accredited through MHFA England. While our other training courses are not formally accredited, they are carefully developed using adult learning theory, reviewed by people with lived experience, and piloted before launch to ensure they are engaging, effective, and evidence-informed.

We’re committed to delivering training that’s not only grounded in best practice, but also genuinely meets the needs of workplaces.

Do I get a qualification at the end of the training?

Yes, if you attend our Mental Health First Aid training, you’ll receive an accredited certificate from MHFA England.

For all our other courses, while they are not formally accredited, participants receive a certificate of attendance, provided they’ve completed the post-training feedback form.

Delivery and customisation

Can training be customised for our organisation's specific needs?

Yes! While we offer a selection of tried-and-tested training packages, covering key mental health topics, we understand that every organisation is different. If you’re facing particular challenges or aiming to achieve specific goals, we’re happy to create a bespoke session tailored to your needs. Whether it’s a one-off workshop or a wider training programme, we’ll work with you to design and deliver something that fits your organisation perfectly.

How many employees should participate in each training session?

Our optimum group size is 16 participants per session. For in-person training, we can accommodate up to 25 people. This helps ensure that everyone has space to engage in discussions, take part in breakout activities, and get the most from the experience.

Can sessions be recorded?

To protect the privacy of those attending our sessions and to encourage open, honest conversations, we don’t permit recordings as standard. This helps create a safe, supportive learning environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions and sharing experiences.

However, in certain circumstances, we’re happy to discuss whether a recording request can be accommodated. Please contact us in advance to explore what’s possible — we’ll always prioritise the comfort and confidentiality of all participants.

What time of day do you typically offer your training sessions?

For our 4-hour mental health training courses, we typically offer:

Morning sessions: start at 9:30am

Afternoon sessions: start at 1:00pm

If you’re looking for a different start time, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Our team would be happy to accommodate where possible.

What resources do participants receive to support ongoing learning?

All participants receive a digital eLearning pack following our Mental Health Awareness, Mental Health for Managers, Mental Health Champions, and Suicide Awareness Training sessions. These include a summary of key learning points and resources, as well as signposting to relevant support services — ensuring they can continue learning and applying their knowledge long after the training ends.

We would be happy to create bespoke e-packs for organisations wishing for tailored materials or further resources aligned to their specific needs. Please note that this service is available at an additional cost. For more information or to discuss your needs, feel free to get in touch with our team.

Can you deliver mental health training remotely or only in person?

We offer both. Our training can be delivered online via Zoom, or in-person, anywhere across the UK. This flexibility allows us to reach your team wherever they’re based, while ensuring the same high-quality experience.
