Here’s a top tip for reaching your fundraising target: Organise a fundraising event at work or with friends as soon as you join #TeamMentalHealthUK. It could be a cheese and wine night, a film screening at your house, or a BBQ where people donate to come along. Run a raffle or a sweepstake during the event, and you will be surprised at just how much you can raise.

Remember that whatever money you raise will truly make a difference in our work and the lives of the people we support.

The positive impact the group has had on me is huge. I don’t feel so isolated any more. If the support had not been available I would still be facing depression and loneliness, unable to look after myself and over-thinking things.
