Decoding Therapy – what kind of therapy is right for me?

Investing in our mental health is just as important as staying well physically. Talking to someone professionally, or receiving therapeutic support can help improve our thinking, behaviour, emotions and mood. With an abundance of types of therapy out there, it can be difficult to know where to begin.

 

Our partner, This Can Happen have launched a new campaign called Decoding Therapy which helps unravel some of the question marks in this area. They have produced a handy guide and engaging videos which outline the different types of therapy, what they entail and how they work to support positive workplace mental health.

Equipping yourself with this knowledge can be helpful when deciding how best to support your own or somebody else’s mental health. It’s good to familiarise yourself with the options available, so that you’re well-informed when speaking to your GP or taking that first step to get the support you deserve.
